Of course, someone can just send a heavy hitting squad with the best quirks, trinkets, and move set, do damage, loose the squad, and spend 15+ weeks rebuilding the same squad from scratch and go back with no penalty from not hitting the thing in a long period of time, so maybe make it so it could heal by tiny amounts slowly over time if it hasn't been damaged in a week or two. So you would send squad after squad to their death just so you can wither the Boss slowly.
